LED Lighting in Rooms

As we celebrate the release of our Suites this month, we are pleased to share further green initiatives within our new guestrooms. All rooms now feature LED light bulbs, replacing traditional bulbs which consume large amount of energy. The light-emitting diode (LED) is today's most energy-efficient lighting technology which could help to reduce the electricity consumption for lighting by up to 80% and last 25 times longer than incandescent lighting.

Along with our new master lighting control panel situated within reach of your bed, our rooms are also equipped with a motion-sensor light  at the entrance that will turn the lights on when it detects any motion and will automatically turn the light off after automatically a certain period of time.

We believe the widespread use of LED lighting not only in our rooms but also in all our Front of house areas will have a great impact on our energy saving initiatives for 2020 and beyond.

Environmentally Friendly Reusable Bottles

People consume and dispose of plastic water bottles every day whether at home or on the go. As a result, millions of tons of plastic end up as waste each year. With only a small amount of these bottles being recycled, the environmental impact of plastic pollution is there for all to see, either in landfill or in the ocean.

Being aware that drink containers are a huge part of the problem, and in our efforts to beat plastic pollution, this November, we are delighted to put into use refillable glass water bottles in all of our guest rooms and banquet area. The water we provide is purified with Reverse Osmosis & Ultra Violet technology, which is safe for everyone to consume, and our glass water bottles are thoroughly washed, sanitised and sterilised before being placed into guest rooms. Feel free to refill your bottles at our water refill stations located on each guest room floor, or allow our housekeeping to replace them daily upon service.

Saving around 200,000 plastic water bottles a year, we are proud to be a leader in Saigon to take this initiative, educating not only our guests but our staff too. Everyone here is 100% on board and committed to the project and we hope you are too! We would love to hear your feedback next time you pass by the Front Desk. Please join us in our mission to reduce our reliance on single-use plastics.
